We are looking for an experienced head chef for a corporate company in West London to start at the beginning of August. Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4pm with the occasional additional event in the summer outside of these hours.
You will be fully responsible for running the kitchen, with the additional help of a housekeeper who will help clear up each day. Laying out breakfast, cooking lunch for 40-60 people each day and preparing a relaxed dinner for 10-20 people each day. Style of food is healthy and fresh relaxed home cooking. All meals to be cooked with high quality produces, and it will be your responsibility to ensure all food served is of high standards with a varied and healthy menu throughout the year. Additional responsibilities include ordering the ingredients, managing kitchen maintenance, health and safety documentation and keeping on top of the finances and budgeting of the food.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of kitchen management, excellent organisational skills and must have knowledge of current culinary trends. It’s a relaxed office environment, and the kitchen is open plan so there will be lots of interaction with the staff, therefore the right cultural fit is key.
